PSU's Charles Odum, a 2012 Lou Henson Mid-Major All-American Says Bill "Like a Father"

Speaking at the 2012 Annual President's Scholarship Reception, Viking Athletic Fund Scholar Charles Odum said " . . . and a family always motivates its members to do better, all the time.  I'd like to tell you guys about a supporter, a good friend of mine.  His name is Bill Barton.  This guy always pushed me to be better; always encourages me to imporve, as an athlete and as a human being.  Like a father that pushes his son to continue to get better and progress in his success.  I'll always appreciate every ounce of time that he put into me."  Charles Odum was one of 25 players named to the 2012 Lou Henson Mid-Major All-American team.
