“How to Make a Life in the Law,” is a one-man show and historic creation based on one of the nation’s great judges and one of the 19th century’s most popular authors. Bill has meticulously studied the life and writings of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. and delights audiences by bringing his unique perspective, signature directness, and character to life, relating in the first-person Holmes’ significant impact on the US Constitution, social thought, and legal policy as we know it, as well as fielding questions in-character on issues as contemporary and diverse as Obamacare and same sex marriage.
